The Principal Financial Group of Des Moines, Iowa has announced that it will pay certain customer fees on health savings accounts and health reimbursement arrangements for a limited time. The company will pay account set-up fees on health savings accounts and monthly administration fees on health reimbursement arrangements.

The Medsphere Systems Corp. of San Ramon, Calif. and Keane, Inc. of Aliso Viejo, Calif. have announced a partnership to integrate Medsphere's OpenVista electronic health record platform with Keane's EZ-Access Patcom revenue cycle management product.  

Picis, Inc. of Wakefield, Mass. has announced the implementation of CareSuite Extelligence OR at 15 healthcare institutions, including the Carolinas HealthCare System, Camino Medical Group SurgiCenter, Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Santa Rose Memorial Hospital and St. Joseph Hospital. In addition, the company has released version 3.1 of Extelligence OR, a Web-based business intelligence solution designed for managing and analyzing the business performance of the surgical care environment.

Sage Software Healthcare has announced that Cullman Primary Care, a multi-specialty medical group serving 10 locations in Cullman, Ala., has selected Sage's Intergy suite of products for all of its electronic health records (EHR), practice management (PM) and analytical tools requirements.

National Healthcare Payer Networks, a Wayne, Pa.-based provider of managed care contract consulting, claims negotiations and collections for non-primary, non-contracted payers, will provide out-partnering managed care services to Nashville-based Essent Healthcare's facilities.
