Novant analyzed their data to determine patients who wanted to pay their obligation but struggled in the current system to do so. Navant considered the elements they could control and explored multiple options patients could satisfy that financial obligation. "If we give them a single option and narrows their scope to pay. Give them multiple options and timeframes, it's more affordable for them," said York.
