Recently, four Republican senators asked the Department of Health and Human Services to suspend meaningful use payments. Healthcare Finance News asked its readers if this development made them rethink allocating funds to achieve Stage 2. Read on to see what they said.
The majority of respondents said they are not rethinking Stage 2, citing improved workflow and patient care as bigger payoffs.
Twenty-nine percent noted that it would be risky to move forward with Stage 2 if reimbursements were not an option.
