DALLAS – Seton Family of Hospitals, a provider of healthcare services in Central Texas, serving an 11-county population of 1.8 million, has partnered with MedSynergies Inc. for hospital-physician alignment solutions, including revenue cycle management services, credentialing, client services and consulting services to improve its business and operating processes, while providing its physicians more time to focus on patient care.

“Seton Family of Hospitals is happy to announce that it has selected MedSynergies to further our mission of integrating excellence and innovation into our organization,” said Bob Bonar, executive president for Physician Enterprise of the Seton Family of Hospitals. “As the leading provider of healthcare services in Central Texas, we’re committed to developing a world-class physician community in our region.”

Seton Family of Hospitals, part of the Ascension Health System, the largest not-for-profit healthcare system in the United States, is expected to go live during the month of November, implementing MedSynergies’ hospital-physician alignment solutions, including:

  • Revenue Cycle Management Services – Physician billing and payment processing; denial management; patient self pay services
  • Management Services – Credentialing and enrollment of physicians with payers
  • Client Services – Delivery of physician practice best practices to improve patient services (non-clinical)
  • Consulting Services – Detailed analysis and improvement recommendations for systems configuration and operational processes

“We are honored to be selected as the partner to support Seton Family of Hospitals in their mission to align with their physicians as they build a leading healthcare system supported by a world-class Management Services Organization,” said John R. Thomas, president and CEO of MedSynergies. “Physicians and hospitals are constantly searching for an answer to increasing their revenue and quality of patient care in this economic time. Our main goal is to help hospitals improve quality of care by allowing physicians to spend more time with patients and less time on the business side of their practices.”

Built to serve the complex needs of physician practices, MedSynergies provides transparent intellectual hospital alignment, leading day-to-day physician relationships for hospital systems in a financially responsible manner. MedSynergies’ speed and experience in aligning diverse interests and needs rapidly maximizes hospital-physician relationships, allowing physician networks to quickly become effective and successful and hospital systems to gain market share, while ensuring compliance and mitigating risk.
