SEATTLE, WA – Northwest Regional Primary Care Association (NWRPCA) welcomes SUNRx as an association member, a relationship that will enhance the delivery of services to NWRPCA members and expand access to affordable medications in the Northwest.
“We are proud to welcome SUNRx as a member of our organization,” said Bruce Gray, CEO of NWRPCA, which works to ensure equal access to primary health care for residents of Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Alaska. “SUNRx, the first company of its kind to join NWRPCA, can help our members manage the complexities of the 340B program and make medications more affordable for families in the communities they serve.”
The federal 340B program discounts medications up to 60% below retail prices through qualified community health centers and hospitals. Despite the need, many community health centers have limited 340B programs – or none at all – due to the program’s complexity. As a regional primary care association, NWRPCA works to identify organizations and corporations such as SunRx that are able to help community health centers serve their entire communities, particularly the medically underserved.
SUNRx simplifies 340B management and compliance and helps community health centers and hospitals across the nation save money, generate revenue and provide more effective patient care. SUNRx partnered with leading community health administrators, doctors and pharmacists to develop a solution to meet their unique challenges and needs.
“We are honored to join NWRPCA,” said SUNRx CEO Tim Liebmann. “We look forward to working with safety net providers in the Northwest to reduce the cost of healthcare and provide patients with convenient access to the medications they need at prices they can afford.”
