Covering West Coast operations, Mr. Gary Fong has joined the company as a Senior Vice President. Mr. Fong has more than thirty years of healthcare experience and was the founder and COO of the CDM Services Group (CDMSG) where he was responsible for directing its operations. Services provided by CDMSG included complete Charge Description Master (CDM) Review and Update, web-based CDM Maintenance, Corporate Standard/Consolidated CDM Development and Implementation, as well as other related services.
Joining the company’s New Jersey office as a Senior Vice President and Officer, Mr. Gregory M. Adams is the former CFO of Holy Name Hospital (Teaneck, New Jersey) and currently an officer of the National HFMA, serving as the Secretary/ Treasurer. Prior to his position at Holy Name, Mr. Adams held the position of Executive Director at CBIZ KA Consulting for 8 years and has over 20 years experience as a hospital CFO.
Panacea has also rounded out its healthcare financial services by adding Mr. John Manzi to the team as a Senior Vice President, concentrating on hospital reimbursement for our clients. An expert in Medicare reimbursement, Mr. Manzi has assisted in recovering millions of dollars in errors for Medicare Cost Outliers payments and through Medicare PRRB appeals and re-openings. His expertise also includes Medicare Cost Report preparation & review, development of reimbursement software, revenue enhancement, product line profitability management, RAC assessments and clinical compliance audits.
