IRVING, TX – Novation, the healthcare industry's leading supply contracting company, today announced that it has awarded a multisource agreement to Ansell Healthcare (Red Bank, N.J.), Cardinal Health (McGaw Park, Ill.), Medline Industries (Mundelein, Ill.) and Molnlycke (Norcross, Ga.) for surgical gloves.

The agreement is effective through December 31, 2012 with two one year extension options. The following products will be available to the members of VHA Inc., the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) and Provista:

• latex powder-free gloves
• synthetic gloves
• specialty gloves
