Medical Present Value, Inc., an Austin, Texas-based provider of financial tools and services to manage payer contracts and audit reimbursement, has signed contracts for its Phynance product with Pentucket Medical Associates, Inc., a 54-provider multi-specialty group based in Haverhill, Mass.; The Indiana Hand Center, a 16-physician specialty group based in Indianapolis; and OrthoMaryland, a Baltimore-based, 17-physician orthopaedic practice.

RF Technologies of Brookfield, Wis. has announced that it will be offering partnerships with healthcare providers around the country to help them comply with new Medicare regulations that go into effect Oct. 1 regarding expenses related to preventable hospital injuries.

The Convergys Corp. of Cincinnati has signed a contract to expand the customer care services it provides to the Minneapolis-based UnitedHealth Group by serving the members of its Ovations SecureHorizons program.

Atlanta-based SciHealth has released the SciHealth Labor Cost Management (LCM) productivity solution, which is designed to "enable acute responses to failures of hospital labor efficiency."

Benefit Informatics, a healthcare technology provider for self-insured benefit plan administrators, has been selected by the Employee Benefits Administration & Management Corp. of Costa Mesa, Calif. to implement online benefit analysis and reporting technology to enhance communication and distribution to clients and brokers.

HealthTronics, Inc. of Austin, Texas, which provides healthcare services and technology in the urology field, has amended its senior credit facility. The amendment increases its revolving line of credit from $50 million to $60 million; allows the company to repurchase of to $10 million of its common stock; increases the dollar amount of permitted acquisitions under the acquisitions negative covenant from $25 million to $30 million during any 12-month period and provides that the full $30 million is available on the date of the amendment; and provides approval of the lenders for the company's previously announced acquisition of Advanced Medical Partners, Inc.

CACI International, Inc. of Arlington, Va. has been awarded a five-year blanket purchase agreement with an estimated value of $54.8 million to support the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support-Defense Logistics Agency program. CACI will provide services and information technology solutions to help DLA manage medical supplies and services for military forces worldwide.

MyriadHealth, an Ohio-based developer of Web-based real-time claims management platforms used by third party administrators and self-administered health plans, has secured $1.5 million in funding to integrate provider electronic medical records with practice management systems.

MediClick, Inc. of Raleigh, N.C. has updated the names and logos of its healthcare supply chain solutions to MediClick for Contracts & Analysis, MediClick for the Supply Chain and MediClick for Financials.

EZ-CAP, the Valencia, Calif.-based flagship product of MZI healthcare, LLC, has formed a strategic partnership with JMS and Associates, a provider of business process outsourcing solutions, to offer end-to-end paper claim conversion services to automate claims processing.

Limeade, Inc., of Bellevue, Wash., has launched Limeade Employee Vitality, an online wellness platform designed to help employers create high-performance workplaces through improved employee health.

Portland, Ore.-based Kryptiq has announced the deployment of its eScriptMessenger e-prescribing solution at Medford Medical Clinic in Medford, Ore.

CPU Medical Management Systems, a San Diego-based provider medical billing and practice management software systems, has announced the signing of four contracts for its Web MED/FM product. The contracts are with American Billing Services, Inc. of Portland, Ore.; Desert medical Imaging of Indian wells, Calif.; Professional Business Services of Springfield, Ill.; and X-Ray Professional Associates of Concord, N.H.

The HealthCentral Network, Inc. of Arlington, Va. and IAC have announced the launch of an advertising network for pharmaceutical and health and wellness marketers. The platform will give marketers access to more than 45 million monthly visitors across IAC Ad Solutions' network and 10 million monthly visitors on The HealthCentral Network's family of targeted health sites.

HealthPricer Interactive, a Vancouver, Canada-based provider of product search and comparison shopping for health products, has signed a deal with Mountain View, Calif.-based Kosmix to syndicate its healthcare product MarketPlace on Kosmix's www.righthealth.com. In addition, the company has selected DoubleClick Performics, the performance marketing division of DoubleClick, Inc., now owned by Google, to provide visitors to its Web site and partner MarketPlaces with product offers from more big brand retailers.
