MedQuist, a Mount Laurel, N.J.-based developer of clinical documentation solutions, has announced an agreement with healthcare informatics software developer Artificial Medical Intelligence, Inc., to provide computer-assisted coding within MedQuist’s CodeRunner coding workflow platform. AMI’s Powered by EMscribe technology includes comprehensive inpatient and outpatient natural language processing to provide ICD-9-CM, CPT and E&M coding conventions, as well as the platform framework for ICD-10 in the future.

Apollo Data Technologies, a Chicago-based provider of predictive analytics solutions for healthcare providers, has been selected by the Washington-based MultiCare Health System to implement its Charge Recovery Solution, designed to capture revenue leakage from missing charges and improve coding compliance.

Consumer Health Technologies, Inc., a Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based developer of consumer-directed healthcare software solutions, has announced an alliance with the HSA Council, an organization of banks, insurers and technology leaders committed to assisting in the distribution of health savings accounts through banks.

TransEngen, Inc., has announced an alliance with Medical Pay Solutions, a national patient revenue management consultant firm, that will allow MPS to market its Revenue Maximizer solution to healthcare providers.

Healthline Networks of San Francisco has reached agreement with Yahoo by which Healthline’s semantic taxonomy will drive the health-specific search and navigation on the Yahoo site. In addition, Yahoo will feature Healthine’s clinical applications, including SymptomSearch, TreatmantSearch and DocSearch, and will become a partner in the Healthline Media Network, an Internet-based health advertising network.

OmniMD, a Tarrytown, N.Y.-based provider of electronic medical records and practice management software, has announced a strategic partnership agreement with The Medical Faculty Health Alliance (MFHA) – IPA and WMSO, LLC.
