GE Healthcare IT, based in Barrington, Ill., has announced the availability of its Meaningful Use-ready software release for Centricity Enterprise, the company’s integrated clinical, financial and administrative software solution for hospitals. The new release is version 6.9. In addition, GE Healthcare has announced that its ePrescribing solution has been approved by the Ohio Pharmacy Board for use by the state’s physicians.
The Authentidate Holding Corp. of Berkeley Heights, N.J., a provider of telehealth products and services, has completed the sale of certain non-core assets, including land and buildings in Schenectady, N.Y., to Star Advisors, LLC, acting on behalf of the principals of the Astria Solutions Group, LLC, for $2.4 million. The money will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.
