GE Healthcare IT, based in Barrington, Ill., has announced the availability of its Meaningful Use-ready software release for Centricity Enterprise, the company’s integrated clinical, financial and administrative software solution for hospitals. The new release is version 6.9. In addition, GE Healthcare has announced that its ePrescribing solution has been approved by the Ohio Pharmacy Board for use by the state’s physicians.


The Authentidate Holding Corp. of Berkeley Heights, N.J., a provider of telehealth products and services, has completed the sale of certain non-core assets, including land and buildings in Schenectady, N.Y., to Star Advisors, LLC, acting on behalf of the principals of the Astria Solutions Group, LLC, for $2.4 million. The money will be used for working capital and general corporate purposes.

MedeAnalytics, an Emeryville, Calif.-based provider of healthcare performance management solutions, has released version 10 of its namesake solution. The summer 2010 software platform includes new features such as Alerts Plus, which is designed to allow clients to be notified of key issues or accomplishments. The company has also entered into a multi-year agreement with Health Net, Inc., to provide performance management solutions for Health Net’s health plan operations and Medicare products, including Medical Management Analytics, Provider Network Management Analytics and Operations Performance Management.

Cymetrix, an Irvine, Calif.-based provider of revenue cycle management solutions, has announced an expanded partnership with Torrance Memorial Medical Center in Torrance, Calif., to provide self-pay accounts receivable management services. The company has also announced a partnership with the Hartford Healthcare Foundation of Hartford, Conn., for third-party accounts receivable management services.

NetSol Technologies, Inc., a Calabasas, Calif.-based provider of global business services and enterprise application solutions to private and public sector organizations, has signed a license upgrade agreement with Singers Healthcare Finance Limited, one of the UK’s leading providers of leasing solutions to the healthcare industry. Under the agreement, SHFL will upgrade to the latest version of NetSol’s LeaseSoft asset management solution.
